The competitions rigs are made with #30 test mono and designed to break to facilitate repeat business. They also use lower quality components like mylar skirting which if not flared each time reduces it's effectiveness and fish attraction. Our rigs are designed to last a season. In today's market you get what you pay for and my rigs will produce more fish in less time saving gas and added cost of purchasing more rigs. It is always wise to check the rig each time to ensure there are no nicks in the line. On several occasions last summer the fish literally bit the head right off of the rig.
